Juice

Drink Your Dinner Tonight

It’s Meatless Monday, and if you’re craving something savory, you don’t have to skip the idea of juice for dinner. This juice spices things up and is an excellent main meal replacement! Get the recipe.

Purple Paradise Juice

Just one look at this juice’s vibrant color and you’ll be able to see it’s a super healthy one. A seriously potent phytonutrient rich juice, it’s high in folate, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, iron and betaine. Get the recipe.

Colorful Coconut Juice

This super summer juice is light, tasty and packed with electrolytes. The coconut water added to the juice is not only a great way to mask the taste of coconut water for anyone who does not usually enjoy it, but it’s also a great way to add extra electrolyte-rich volume to any juice.

Sweet Blueberry Blast

July is National Blueberry Month, so to celebrate I incorporated blueberries into my juice recipe this week. Blueberries are loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants, digestive and vision-healthy vitamins A and C, and are a good source of fiber (5 grams per 1 cup) while being relatively low in calories so drink up and enjoy!

Summer Greens & Peach Juice

Fresh greens are in season right now, and they’re a great addition to any juice or smoothie. This juice has a nice mixture of both mild and bitter greens like arugula and frisee, but is nicely balanced by the sweetness in the peaches and carrots.

Tangelo Splash

Ever heard of a tangelo? They are a cross between a tangerine and grapefruit giving them a lovely mix of sweet and sour. Also known as honeybells, they are high in vitamin C, flavonoids, potassium and folate. High flavonoid and vitamin C intake may reduce the risk of asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease and neurological disorders caused by aging. Enjoy!

Sunshine Citrus Chard Juice

Earlier this week I shared a different version of Joe’s Mean Green that had chard leaves instead of kale and celery! Now I’m using chard again because it is such a powerhouse with a very high nutrient content. It is rich in carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin, and it provides a lot of juice which is always a bonus, thanks to its thick stalks. Enjoy!

Love Joe’s Mean Green? Then You Have to Try this Juice

If you love Joe’s Mean Green, then you’ll love this juice too! This Mean Chard Juice is just as easy, nutritious and enjoyable. I use the chard (silverbeet) in place of the celery and kale to switch up my nutrient intake. Enjoy!

Low Sugar Green Juice

Looking for a refreshing juice that’s low in carbohydrates but rich in nutrients? If you have diabetes, high blood sugar, pre-diabetes, or are simply looking to cut down even on natural sweets this juice is for you.

Kick it Up a Notch Juice Recipe

I can’t walk past the super vibrant organic broccoli in the organic market without purchasing some (not that I ever do; it’s a staple in my kitchen!) This week, I decided to add it to my juice recipe. It’s similar to the Oh Sweet Broccoli Juice but the addition of lemon and celery in this one really kick it up a notch. Enjoy!
