Many people love a good V8 type juice but if you’re sensitive to tomatoes or peppers then the classic V8 and other tomato-based juices can cause problems. Nightshades can cause GI irritation for some people and aggravate arthritic symptoms for others. Try this fun non-tomato based juice to enjoy as a meal substitute. This drink can be a great pick-me-up if you’re not feeling 100%, as the onion contains quercetin, a compound that possesses anti-inflammatory benefits along with anti-microbial support.
Tasty Tip: You can also top this juice with a little hot sauce if you tolerate it and freshly cracked black pepper and sea salt.
