When I think of summer I think of two of my favorite foods that I used to snack on while at the beach: watermelon and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. So, when I was coming up with a smoothie to have for lunch the other day, I thought…why not try to combine my summer favorites into one glass?! It was risky, but it was worth it, because it is oh so delicious.

I absolutely love this smoothie. It’s become one of my go-to’s for breakfast but I’ve also found myself making it for me and my roommates as a healthy dessert! It’s packed with healthy proteins and nutritious greens, and it tastes like candy (a Reese’s Pieces to be exact). I always add as many greens as possible to pump up the nutrients and it never takes away from the delicious peanut butter flavor.
