In the Reboot Kitchen: Green Monkey Peanut Butter Smoothie

I absolutely love this smoothie. It’s become one of my go-to’s for breakfast but I’ve also found myself making it for me and my roommates as a healthy dessert! It’s packed with healthy proteins and nutritious greens, and it tastes like candy (a Reese’s Pieces to be exact). I always add as many greens as possible to pump up the nutrients and it never takes away from the delicious peanut butter flavor.


  • 6 kale leaves (or more!)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) almond milk
  • 1 cup (250 ml) coconut water
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 banana (frozen if desirable)
  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • ice, as needed


  1. Wash kale and spinach.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, about 45 – 60 seconds.
  3. Serve in two glass and enjoy.
