A Chef’s Juice: Extreme Green

I love juicing. I started juicing 10 months ago and since then, I have dropped a total of 80 lbs./36 kg! I’m happy to say that I’ve been able to maintain my current weight at 205 lbs/93 kg. for the past two months thanks to all the juicing. While I love experimenting with all different fruits and veggies, I always favor the green juices. Get the recipe for this extreme green juice!

Celebration Grape Vino Juice

Since today is my birthday, I was looking for a recipe that not only used up the cabbage but was a little festive too. I decided to take some cues from another festive beverage and go with grapes. I added a little fennel and apple, and the result is a lovely lilac juice. Get the recipe.

Potent Purple Juice

Up the nutrient intake at this year’s Sedar and include fresh juice to celebrate this tradition! Not only is this Passover Purple Juice bursting with flavor it also boasts potent phytonutrients like the antioxidant anthocyanin, linked with helping to reduce cancer risk, inflammation, age-related memory loss and cognitive function. Blackberries even have a higher ORAC score, a measure of antioxidant status, than blueberries! (Although all berries are a great source of antioxidants).
