This week, the Reboot team is doing a 7 Day Reboot and one of the best parts about it for me is that it encourages me to try more juice combinations that I haven’t had before.  I can be a creature of habit, so I primarily stick to green juices in situations that call for juice.  However, when juicing all day, the tried and true ‘mean green’ can get a little… well, tired.

On Day 1, after a full day of greener ‘pastures’, I got home and simply wanted something different. Enter Sweet Potato and Pear!  Inspired by the Peach Pie Juice recipe on the Reboot site, but unable to find peaches in season, I opted for another favorite, and more timely, fruit – the Pear.

I added a splash of homemade almond milk (see Recipe here) and a few dashes of cinnamon and the end result was absolutely delicious.  Sweet, creamy and completely different from the green juice I’d been drinking all day.  Also, it helped me achieve my goal of drinking the rainbow!

Ingredients:
1 large sweet potato, peeled
1 bartlett pear
Small splash of Fresh Almond Milk
3 dashes of cinnamon

Directions:
Pass sweet potato and pear through the juicer. Add splash of Fresh Almond Milk and a few dashes of Cinnamon.

Enjoy!
