When Life Gives You Lemons, Make this Juice

I love this juice because it’s super refreshing, and the best part is that it includes one of my favorite (and often overlooked) lettuces, Romaine! Romaine is a non-goitrogen (good for anyone who needs to be conscious of their thyroid) and is a source of vitamins A and C as well as energizing B vitamins and some magnesium and calcium too. Enjoy this refreshing juice on a warm summers day!


  • 1 apple, cored
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 lemon, peeled (optional)
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1-inch ginger


  1. Wash all produce well.
  2. Peel lemon.
  3. Add ingredients through juicer.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
