This juice is made with a wonderful variety of fresh and colorful vegetables, which makes it a great source of many different plant-based nutrients. Different colored fruits and vegetables provide different and essential vitamins, minerals, and other phytonutrients. For example in this juice, the orange carrots and red tomatoes are a great source of beta carotene, the broccoli provides a source of vitamin C, iron, vitamin K and some b-vitamins to name a few. Not only is this juice packed with lots of nutrients, but it has a tasty, tangy and fresh flavor.
To mix it up, add your favorite fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs and spices.
- 5 medium to large carrots
- 1 medium tomato
- 1/2 head of broccoli
- 1 handful fresh parsley
- 1 lime
- 2 in (5 cm) piece of fresh root ginger
- Wash and prepare all produce.
- Add ingredients through juicer.
- Serve and enjoy!
