Refreshing Coconut Lime Smoothie

It’s starting to get warmer here in New York City, so my traditional heavier winter smoothies are starting to get phased out for lighter, more refreshing, summer-style smoothies. This smoothie is super tasty, easy to make and is loaded with hydrating ingredients like cucumber and lime. Enjoy on a warm spring or summer day for a refreshing splash of flavor.


  • 1 cup (250 ml) coconut water
  • 1 pear, cored
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • ½ lime, peeled
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 handful of ice


  1. Wash and prepare ingredients as instructed.
  2. Add ingredients to blender and blend on high for 45-60 seconds until smooth.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
