Holiday parties are in full swing this time of year and we know what that means…alcohol starts flowing a little more than usual! At Reboot, we enjoy an occasional cocktail but we do so by making sure we are still adding nutrients into our bodies.
Enter the ‘Beet-ini’. With or without alcohol, this vibrant juice is a holiday favorite for its beautiful rich color and array of nutrients that come from the beets, oranges and apples.
- 1 small beet, peeled
- 1 red apple
- 1 orange, peeled
- 1 oz. vodka (optional)
- 1 sprig mint
- 1 thin slice orange
- Wash all produce well.
- Add beet, orange, and apple through juicer.
- If adding vodka, pour juiced produce and vodka into shaker over ice and shake well.
- Rub mint leaves on rim of martini glass then pour drink into glass.
- Garnish with a fresh orange slice and sprig of mint.
