Garlic Basil Vinaigrette Dressing

Everyone needs a few essential everyday recipes that they can easily whip up, and vinaigrette is surely one of them. This vinegar and oil-based dressing is light and tangy with just a hint of honey. The fresh basil and garlic give it a little more appeal than your basic salad dressing. It goes great on salad greens or as a marinade for grilled vegetables.


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil (or 1/4 cup fresh)
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste (~1/4 tsp each)


  1. Blend the olive oil, vinegar, honey, basil, garlic, sea salt and pepper. Add 1 tbsp dressing to any salad and toss.
  2. Save remaining dressing for other salads or as a marinade for grilled or roasted veggies!
