Energizing Cacao Smoothie

Alex Jamieson joined Joe on The Joe Show to share one of her favorite energy boosting smoothies. She drinks it to keep up with her six-year old son but it’s a great boost of energy for every morning to get you through your day!

Ingredients

  • 1 large handful of kale (Tuscan cabbage)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup (150 g) blueberries
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) raw cacao nibs
  • 1/4 cup (15 g) unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 cup (235 ml) coconut water

Directions

  1. Wash kale and blueberries.
  2. Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high until smooth, about 45 – 60 seconds.
  3. Serve and enjoy.
