[...] in mind that I’d normally be happiest drowning in chocolate, I have to say that Cross’s Mean Green juice (consisting of kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, apples and ginger) is quite delicious which, quite [...]
I’ve been juicing raw fruits and vegetables for 2 years now. After watching Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, I’ve been able to get my grandmother and very close friend juicing. I honestly can’t live without juicing fruits and vegetables! LOVE it!
My favorite recipe is:
6 Cups Spinach
4 Kale Leaves
1 Cup Parsley
1 Thumb Size Piece of Ginger
2 Fuji Apples
I drink that almost every day…just can’t get enough of it! Thanks for the great videos.
Juiced for 9 days and lost 11 pounds. I’m a meat lover and I know my taste buds have changed. Looking forward to see what’s down the road.
I am going to attemp to do juicing JUST JUICING ONLY for 2months. First time doing this lols WISH ME LUCK
See you back here in 2months time. My wieght is 163.
Hi! So eager to know how you are doing! Best to you!
I watched the movie, and was very moved and motivated. I am going to start juicing for health, weight loss and enlightenment. I bought me Breville and I am ready to go. I will be back to let you know my progress. Thank you for this fantastic supportive site.
Thanks for the recipe! You are such an inspiration and have certainly inspired me to juice so thanks
Just one note though…. apple seeds are toxic to dogs and people but, especially dogs since they are smaller than us. The seeds contain arsenic. There are many foods that we eat that are toxic to dogs so I wouldn’t give any of the scraps to my pet. Better to be safe than sorry.
Pardon me…it is not arsenic…the toxin is cyanide: http://chemistry.about.com/b/2007/09/12/yes-apple-seeds-and-cherry-pits-are-poisonous.htm
I can’t understand why you wouldn’t eat the fibre, surely by juicing and not having the fibre you are losing most of the goodness, correct me if I am wrong
very cool . Ijust watched the Fat Sick and almost dead movie. what is the regimen each day? is it mean green juice all day or different juice for lunch and evening, and/or at bedtime? Please help.
Are there any fruits I should avoid for weight loss?
