Spinach Lemonade Juice

This is a good juice to try if you have a lot of extra leftover spinach that is about to go bad, or if it’s on super sale at the grocery store… it uses 8 cups!

The juice is sweetened naturally with the addition of a pear and a couple of granny smith apples. But, if you like your lemonade really sweet you could add in a couple drizzles of stevia into your glass at the end. But, I prefer it with all the lemon-y goodness shining through!
I just love how green and refreshing this juice is, even on a winter’s day. You could even add a yellow bell pepper if you had one lying around.
Ingredients:
8 cups spinach
2 lemons
1⁄2 cucumber
1 pear
2 granny smith apples
Directions:
1.) Peel lemons and core apples.
2.) Juice everything.
3.) Add a splash of all natural sweetener like stevia if you want to tame the sour/lemon flavor a bit. (optional).

I always feel like I get hardly any juice out of spinach…guess that’s why this one calls for eight cups??
Wow! Just made this Spinach Lemonade juice. I cut down the lemon a bit and had two pears to use up so did not need any stevia. I am looking for some green juice recipes that I can tolerate and this one hit the spot. I am on day 3 of 30 day ( maybe longer) juice fast. Thanks for posting this.
Yes, I agree, I also want to try this one…Great recipe for something exciting.
loved this juice. At first, I was a little intimidated about the 8 cups of spinach, but juiced on and the results were outstanding.
Loved it! Thank you for this!
This was yummy. I used a whole cucumber because it was so tart but it didn’t change the tast very much. Is it normal for me to only get a few drops if juice out of a handful if spinach?
Just made this and its gorgeous, now this is on my list for having more of this
@sayhellomelanie There is also #JoeTheJuicer Spinich Lemonade. http://t.co/kX8zD0emoI I need to try this one. #greenjuice
Love it! Getting tired of my old standbys came looking for something new. Mine was a bit tart so I added an orange which made it just right.
Had this today in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. I loved it and so did my 8 year old son. Everytime I make a juice I get him to guess the fruits/veggies he can taste….neat way for them to get their greens.
@RobFitness How are you “going green” tomorrow? With Spinach Lemonade http://t.co/kX8zD0emoI #healthy #greenjuice #stpatricksday
I just made this and all I can say is YUM! I made it exactly as it called… no tweaks, no sweeteners. Going on my list of favorites.

I am looking for juices that will help me heal painful joints. This is day 2 of the Reboot cleanses. I am looking forward to day fifteen. My husband is also on it and we both are much better today. We are more awake and alive. I would like to get some more juicing Ideas. I love juicing.
Does anyone know if you can make this or any juice, and refrigerate it for later enjoyment???
Its best to consume your juice immediately after juicing to prevent oxidation. Fresh made juice will oxidize due to the breaking open of the cell walls of the produce which are then exposed it to oxygen. If you must juice and cannot consume immediately, you can store in the fridge and add the juice of an organic lemon which due to its high vitamin c content will react with the oxygen preventing or delaying oxidation.
However I still recommend you consume that juice in 4-6 hours.
Hope this helps

OMG! OMG! this juice heaven
reminds me of strong lemonwater
I loved this recipe! I was able to snag a few bags of Spinach on the cheap and will use this recipe to use them up! I will say that I tried juicing it in my Omega 8006 and got much more juice (about 24 oz) and a stronger spinach flavor, but still yummy. I also tried it in my Jack Lalanne and only got 16 oz and no spinach flavor. It tasted like a yummy lemonade. I think next time I might throw in more cucumber or an extra lemon to the Omega to get that nice lemonade flavor.
