This juice recipe is a great way to start the day. The bright orange color is enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face! And it’s full of Vitamin C, Beta-Carotene and Bromelain.
Ingredients:
2 large carrots
2 large parsnips
1 cup cut pineapple
1 navel orange, peeled
1″ piece ginger, optional

Directions:
Pass all ingredients through a juicer. Enjoy!

Is it still considered, “juicing” if you are using a nutribullet?
Blessings,
Donna
Donna – technically, I think the Nutribullet is closer to blending as the fiber remains part of the final product, but it’s still really good for you
Looks good. Haven’t tried parsnips yet, but will do with this.
Ray – I think you’ll like the parsnip. it juices a lot like a carrot, but with a mild flavor and creamy texture! Try it out.
This looks really good and so refreshing, what a great way to start the morning.
My feeling exactly. I was on a Reboot last week and started the day with this, followed by a Big Green Juice!
This sounds yummy, but I think they left an ingredient out… It looks like there is a grapefruit on the cutting board too, or maybe that is another orange?
I made this minus the parsnips & it was very good! Have yet to try parsnips in a juice.
Just made this juice! Its awesome! Can anyone tell me how many calories are in this recipe?
Im going to try this looks yummy.
I have read in several juicing books, that you shouldn’t mix vegetables and fruit, except with apples. Your thoughts?
this isn’t true no bad can come out of mixing two good things am i right ^_^
I have the same question. It is told not even to eat vegetables and fruits before making a brak of some hours between them…. Hm…
@Belinda and Scortisoara-You could read ten different books, or blogs and get ten different opinions. I found a whole site devoted to juicing and recipes, where the guy says that you should not do juice fasts nor drink more than one juice a day! He seems very knowledgable about nutrition and asian herbal remidies etc-and has a lot of recipes-BUT-I use his recipes and am still doing the Reboot fas! There are so many people that have had success with it. I am a month into it and I do 5 days of just juices, and 2 days (weekends) of just fruits and vegetable recipes. I have lost 17 pounds, and my hubby lost 42 pounds. We both feel AMAZING-Results don’t lie! We plan to continue until we reach our goal weight, (13 more pounds for me and 28 more for him) and then integrate into a healthy diet that includes juicing daily. So take it all with a grain of salt
Never had a parsnips. First time for everything! Will try this this morning, Thanks for the recipe.
i wilt
will the recipe ingredient amounts change at all if you are blending instead of juicing?
How much ginger 1cm or ?
says 1 inch ginger
Saw this recipe the other day but was waiting for my supermarket to get pineapples in. Was very concerned about the parsnip, as I don’t like it cooked but this was very nice and is going on my list of breakfast juices!
I didn’t have any parsnips, so I just used 4 carrots. This was really delicious!
Thank you very much for your movie, for your example! Congrats from Romania! I saw many films concerning this subject, with my wife and we are ready to reboot! Thank you for your approval!
I love this juice!! Really is a great twist on morning OJ to get the day started out awesome!
My husband is doing the reboot. I am enjoying tasting each of the juices. This one was definitely a like.
Very very good. Parsnips are a mite hard to find, but this juice is worth the search!
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone! Don’t fear the parsnip… it’s mild and delicious
juice
I’m having this right now and it is delicious!!!
I made this by substituting pairs for the pineapple and adding a grapefruit. Yummy!
I tried it with and without the ginger, but liked it better without. Very delicious!
The pictures show a grapefruit, was this omitted from the recipe in error?
@Paul – actually I used 2 oranges because they were on the small side.. and they just happened to be different colors on the inside. Both oranges though. However, I bet Grapefruit would be delicious too!
This juice was SO tasty! I used 4 whole carrots instead of the 2 parsnips because I didn’t have them on hand. Also replaced the orange with 3 small mandarins. SO GREAT! Easily my favorite fruit juice to date. Thank you!
I loved This Juice It is Delicious!!
