In the Reboot Kitchen: Australia Day Juices

This past weekend was Australia Day so I was inspired to come up with two beautiful green and gold juice for this very special weekend. Color is an indication of the nutritional content and is also very appealing to our appetite and senses, this ensures we digest a wide-variety of plant rich micro-nutrients.
Green fruits and vegetables indicate chlorophyll, folate, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and other minerals while yellow and orange colored fruits and vegetables indicates beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, flavonoids, lycopene, potassium, and vitamin C.

Oh my, i am getting thirsty looking at these juices. Cant wait to try. I am curious as to know where in the world would i find a green melon? Is this honey dew or actually green melon?
Hi ShantiL03 – yes this is honeydew but you can also use green apple, pear, or lime. Enjoy!
You know, i have been looking for ways to make a dessert juice and so far an apple pie is all i have for now. 3 granny smith apples, 2 red or golden delicious and a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. The best apple pie ever. I blend it with my nutri bullet before drinking. It is great. Do u have any ideas for dessert juices?
Our favorite is the Peach Pie Juice! Here is the recipe: http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/peach-pie-juice-recipe-of-the-week/
Thanks soooo much Jamie. I will check this out.
I’m considering doing a Reboot for 10 days but want to use my Nutri-bullet instead of buying a juicer. I read that you are using a Nutri-bullet. Are you doing a Reboot with it or just making lots of smoothies in your regular diet? Do you know of anyone who is doing a juice fast with a Nutri-bullet?
Third day into juicing and looking forward to trying these. Yum
enjoy
I love the yellow pepper. Nice!
Tried them both and Wow they are good…and what a great concept. You’ve inspired my juice crew and I in San Francisco. We are borrowing your Austrailia Day Gold Juice to serve with the Red Rush Juice at our 49er Faithful Superbowl gathering this Sunday. Thank you
Go 49er’s!
Wow. juiced up silverbeet leaves, lettuce, brocolli, brocolli leaves. apple, orange, lemon. it was delicious.
Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for these recipes. I was ready to quit juicing, but I gave it one more whirl with the yellow juice and I’m pretty sure this recipe saved my fast. THANK YOU!!!!
I tried the Gold Juice but substituted the pineapple w/ Mango… AMAZING!!! My kids kept trying to steal my juice from me. If all of the juices can taste this great then this Juice Fast will be cake.
How many juices should I be drinking away, if I want to just have juice and not eat food?
Wow. This is yummy! I never dreamed of drinking pepper in a juice!! Very refreshing with the lemon and pineapple. ^_^
