Hungover? This Juice Will Help

Hangover Juice
By: Claire Georgiou, Reboot Naturopath, B.HSc ND

Many of us know the drill. We promise ourselves that we won’t drink too much while celebrating, we tell ourselves that we will drink water in-between each cocktail or glass of champagne, and we want to make sure we eat something…yet sometimes all this just goes out the window. So if you did too much celebrating last night, this juice will help you feel better. Hangover symptoms happen for a few different reasons including dehydration, loss of electrolytes, overwhelming liver detoxification and an irritated gastrointestinal system. To help reduce this morning’s fuzz, make yourself this juice that includes natural sugar, vitamin C, antioxidants, electrolytes and supports the natural detoxification pathways in the liver and reduces inflammation. The nutrients including the minerals, vitamins and compounds will help to reduce that hangover quick and allow you to get on with your day! Here are more tips on natural ways to help ease a hangover.  Happy New year and to a fantastic 2016!
