This week I’m making my juice here from some wonderful and leftover ingredients I have in my fridge (one of my favorite things to do!). I added the lemon and ginger to try to balance the bitterness of the endive, and the sweetness of the pear helps to add the pop of flavor. Not only is this juice tasty and maybe different than your usual, but it’s also loaded with nutrients, as the pear is a source of vitamin C, the cucumber provides good hydration and the lemon and ginger contain immune-boosting properties too to help keep you well during cold and flu season.
- 1 pear
- 1 head endive
- 1 in (2.5 cm) piece of ginger
- ½ lemon
- 1 cucumber
- 1 zucchini (courgette), optional for more volume
- Wash all produce well.
- Peel lemon (optional).
- Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy.
