In the Reboot Kitchen: Green Pineapple Smoothie

A power-house of electrolytes and other nutrients, this smoothie is loaded with potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and iron. Pineapple contains a wonderful anti-inflammatory nutrient called bromelain which may reduce inflammation, pain and also aid digestion of proteins.
Ingredients:
2-4 kale leaves (Tuscan cabbage)
1 orange
1 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup coconut water
½ cup ice
4 stevia leaves (dried or powdered is fine, 2 drops of liquid stevia will work, too)
Directions:
1.) Juice the orange in a citrus juicer (or in your Breville juicer).
2.) Combine all ingredients in a blender.
3.) Blend & ENJOY!
Substitutions:
Kale – spinach, collard greens, watercress, arugula (rocket)
Orange – ruby grapefruit, lemon, lime, mandarin, blood orange
Pineapple – honeydew, cantaloupe (rockmelon), apple, pear
Coconut water – hemp, rice, almond milk, water
Stevia – honey, maple

Would it be ok if I juiced it all?? instead of just blending?
This sounds yummy…can’t wait to try!
Candy, I was going to ask the same question.
HI Linda and Candy, You can certainly enjoy this juiced too!
I’ve been juicing pineapple lately, but haven’t ever tried it with kale. That’s a new one for me. I’ll try it in a smoothie. Thanks for the recipe!
Great with mint also love this one
Used frozen pineapple instead of ice. This is my new favorite! Tropical vacation in a glass!!
Just saw the movie, very inspired. My problem is insomnia, so the thought of having a lot more energy actually scares me. Can juicing help with insomnia?
I liked this drink, but I would juice the orange and the kale and then blend everything.
