Enhance the Taste of Your Water, Naturally! – Recipe of the Week

When you do a Reboot, and really throughout life in general, one of the most important things is to drink enough water! For some people this is a no-brainer, they love water, can’t get enough. But for others who simply don’t enjoy the taste of water, it can be a struggle trying to stay hydrated. Here are a couple of ideas to snazz up the flavor of water naturally, making it more palatable and enjoyable for water-haters and water-lovers alike.
A Few Tips: These can all be made fresh or in advance; Aim to drink within 24-36 hours; Best to use Organic (or scrub well) before adding to the water; and Feel free to add ice!

Simple Lemon Water
There are several articles touting the many benefits of starting your day with a glass of lemon water. It’s easy, fresh and tastes great.
Ingredients
2 Liters of Water (preferably filtered)
2 Lemons
Directions
- Fill a pitcher with water
- Cut Lemons in Half, Squeeze juice into the pitcher. If organic, add in the Lemon Rinds for added flavor and a bright look!

Apple & Grape Infused Water
This combo lends a nice aroma and a fresh taste to the water. The apples may break up a bit as they sit in the water, if that would bother you, feel free to strain out any chunks before drinking.
Ingredients
- 2 Liters of Water (preferably filtered)
- 1 Apple (thinly sliced)
- 10-15 Grapes (cut in half)
Directions
- Fill a pitcher with water
- Add sliced apples and cut grapes. Let water infuse for at least 1 hour.
- Strain out fruit, if desired.

Spicy Cucumber Water
Cucumber water – it’s not just for Spas anymore! The fresh cucumber contributes nutrients like Vitamin A and C to the water, and the ginger gives it a kick that keeps you coming back for more.
Ingredients
- 2 Liters of Water (preferably filtered)
- 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp of Ginger, grated
- 1 Lemon, thinly sliced
Directions
- Fill a pitcher with water
- Add Cucumber and Lemon Slices and Fresh Ginger. Allow to steep at least one hour
- Strain, if desired.
