Dr. Carrie Diulus is an orthopedic spine surgeon for the Cleveland Clinic. She treats a range of degenerative and sports related spine conditions. She has a special interest in the role of nutrition in orthopaedics and chronic pain. As a result of struggling with her own weight she now includes freshly expressed juice into her daily routine and incorporates juicing and high micronutrient diets into the treatment of her patients. Dr. Diulus has co-authored textbook chapters and her research in orthopaedics, pathology and biomaterials has been published and presented at both national and international meetings.
Alex Jamieson is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor accredited through the Columbia University Teacher’s College and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She has completed the professional chef training at The Natural Gourmet Institute, and is the author of The Great American Detox Diet, Vegan Cooking for Dummies, and Living Vegan for Dummies. Her approach to holistic health undid the damage Morgan Spurlock’s 30-Day McDonald’s binge did to his body in the Oscar-nominated documentary Super Size Me, and she has spoken on Oprah, CNN, and MSNBC.
Dr. Russell Kennedy, PsyD, MA, works with clients on healthy behavioral change with an emphasis in weight management. Together with his wife, Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD, CSO, LDN, they have a private practice that sculpts individualized plans for weight management, disease prevention and management and to promote longevity. Dr. Kennedy completed a Health Psychology Fellowship at Boston Behavioral Medicine. He combines his training in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Stacy’s expertise in Nutrition to help his patients achieve and maintain weight loss. Dr. Kennedy has over twenty years of experience in personal training, coaching, teaching and fitness consulting to a vast array of athletes, clients and students. He practices and teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Aikido and was a Division 1 collegiate gymnast at Syracuse University. Dr. Kennedy enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 sons & 3 dogs.
Stacy is the nutritionist for Reboot Your Life. She is a Senior Clinical Nutritionist at Dana Farber Cancer Institute (www.dana-farber.org/nutrition) /Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, writes for online health and nutrition sites and works in private practice. Stacy is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine. Besides cooking and juicing Stacy loves hiking, yoga and spending time with her family and friends.
Adrian J. Rawlinson, M.D., hails from Manchester, England and earned his medical degree from the University of Leeds, England in 1983. He is trained in both Primary Care and Emergency Medicine, and completed his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of London in 1992. He is the Director of Medical Informatics at Brown & Toland Physician Group in San Francisco. Adrian specializes in the assessment and management of non-surgical musculoskeletal and sports medicine related problems, is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist, and curently practices at California Pacific Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. Previously, Adrian was the Team Physician for University of California at Berkeley in the Sports Medicine Department. He was Team Physician for the Great Britain Squad at the World University Games in Beijing, China. He also attended the Commonwealth Games in the UK as Team Physician for ‘Team England’. He is married with two children and has a passion for road biking and Manchester City Football Club!
