Barry lived next to temptation…literally. His neighbors were McDonald’s, Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts and Pizza Hut. Weighing 330 lbs./150 kg., Barry didn’t enjoy socializing with his friends, going shopping, or even leaving the house. He stayed at home, ate junk food, and felt sorry for himself.
After watching Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead, Barry felt an emotional connection with Phil and his struggles. The next day, Barry went out and bought a juicer and jumped into a 60 Day Reboot. Nine months later, Barry is still juicing and still losing weight. He also moved apartments and his new neighbor is the gym. He has dropped three shirt sizes, now enjoys clubbing with friends, shopping in regular stores and incorporates juice and exercise into his daily routine. Barry is down 130 lbs./60 kg.! He has also completely cut out meat and carbs and admits that juicing was the best thing he has ever done.
One of the biggest struggles with weight gain is the temptation to eat foods that we know are unhealthy for us. Barry shows us that when we change our environment and mind set, anything is possible. Great job Barry, juice on!
