After having two kids, Alarna lost focus on herself. At 170 lbs./77 kg., she was at her heaviest and constantly felt tired and lethargic. Her husband, who enjoys researching healthy living, came across Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and together they watched the film. Alarna shared with me that this was the change she had been looking for.
Her story is unique because she didn’t jump into a Reboot right away. She started out slowly by eliminating flour, refined sugars, meat and all processed foods and adopted a fruit, vegetable, seeds and nuts only diet. She began to lose weight but plateaued after a month so decided she was ready for a Reboot.
After Rebooting for 27 days, Alarna was down 15 lbs./7 kg. and felt amazing. Not only had her energy levels returned, but she also felt confident, healthy and enjoyed dressing up which is something she hadn’t felt in a few years. Alarna is now using her success to influence others, in particular her kids. Her 13 month old loves juice as much as Alarna does and her 5 year old goes to lunch with the healthiest snacks on the playground.
It’s so important for children to learn about the benefits of healthy eating at a young age, so thank you Alarna for teaching that lesson. Juice on!
