HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT REBOOT YOUR LIFE?
I saw a copy of “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” at my local Woolies. I was intrigued so I bought it and watched it. Great doco!
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DO A REBOOT?
I had always had the knowledge that juice fasting was a great way to give the body a new start but had never really done much about it. Due to a really bad start to 2012 I decided to commit to juice fasting for 30 days and exercise as well.
HOW DID THE EXPERIENCE GO FOR YOU?
I am finding that I am doing it easily, though I know that it is not for everyone.
DID YOU HAVE ANY NOTABLE HEALTH OR PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENTS?
My skin is clear. Dry eczema in my ears, patches on my arms and legs are almost completely gone. I suffer from HS and even that has improved. No more lower back pain from too much time in front of the computer. I wake up feeling very much alive, I do not feel sluggish and tired anymore, my hearing has improved and my mental clarity is amazing.
WHAT WAS THE TOUGHEST PART ABOUT THE REBOOT EXPERIENCE?
The toughest part is staying on track. There are many road bumps along the way. Not having my beloved glass of red wine each evening was only hard for the first 7 days, but a breeze now. Food smells are pretty tempting. And there are people trying to be your Doctor, asking things like: “What about protein? etc., which can be tough.
WHAT IS YOUR LASTING IMPRESSION OF THE REBOOT EXPERIENCE?
Reboot can only be good for you. It is a chance for you to allow your body to start over with a fresh slate. It has revived an awareness in so many people that we do not have to be beholden to the medical profession to keep us alive and well. It has shown people that they can take control of their health and wellness without medication. I always go back to my motto “Heal thyself” 🙂
I feel fantastic and am in tune with my body as I have never been before. I have indulgent moments on occasion and enjoy them but what I have found is that my body reminds me to get back on track as soon as those moments are over. I have dropped from (AUS) size 16/18 to a very comfortable size 12. My family cannot believe the difference in me and are so proud of me.
Most of all, I am proud of me!
