What Juice Should I Drink on a Reboot?

G’day guys, here I am checking in from London, England near Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace. I’m wrapping up my Fully Charged book tour in the UK, and now I’m headed back to the US to complete leg 3 of the tour where I’ll be heading to Canada and more cities in the US. For this week’s Ask Joe Anything, we’re covering a question about juicing on your Reboot! Hear my answer by watching the video below or of course, there’s always the option to read it. I’d love to answer your question next so if you have a question for me, make sure to share it in the comment section below or ask me on social media using #AskJoeAnything. If you’ve missed the previous Ask Joe Anything series, you can check out the questions I’ve already covered in the past thirteen weeks.

I’m about to start a 60 Day Reboot, did you just drink the Mean Green the whole time?

Doing juice for 60 days was really tough, if all I could drink the whole time was just the Mean Green, I probably wouldn’t have done it. What I think we need to do is drink the color of the fruit and vegetable rainbow as much as possible. We want to drink the reds the greens the purples the yellows and the orange colors that Mother Nature provided for us. After all, that’s why we see in color — a third of our brain is all about vision. So we want to make sure we get lots of different colors into our juices. When we juice we ‘re drinking water filtered through the plants, it’s micronutrient water. So we want that concentration of micronutrients in that color. Green, yes it’s fantastic, but also purple, red orange and yellow. Mix it up, get the taste that works for you and do your best to stick the the 80/20 rule for most of your juice which is 80% from veg and 20% from fruit. If you’re coming from a diet that’s high in sugar then it’s okay to adjust those for the early stages to get more more comfortable and then bring the fruit percentage down over time.

Signing out from a fantastic tour from leg two, but the sun is shining and I’m looking forward to continuing the tour in Canada and the US. Have a healthy, happy week. Juice on!
