Jim O. Lost 43 Lbs. After Several 10 Day Reboots and Now Loves to Work Out

Name: Jim O.
Age: 53
Location: Washington
Reboot:  Several 10 Day

How did you learn about Reboot Your Life?
Heard a review of Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead on my morning Radio program.

What inspired you to do a Reboot?
I watched the FSND program that night. I was inspired by the actual success of weight loss. I have tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, South Beach, etc. in the past and was not able to successfully lose the weight.

How did the experience go for you?
It was very tough at first. We (my wife and I) did several successive 10 day programs, and after the first 6 weeks I was amazed at the ability to lose the weight. I was also able to begin a good exercise routine. And now the lifestyle of mostly vegetables is just the expected norm.

How much weight did you lose (even if that wasn’t your goal!)? 43 lbs

Did you have any notable health or physical improvements?
I was able to begin successful exercise, my cholesterol is now normal, and allergies have been minimized. I was taking four ibuprofen before bed to reduce the pain and stiffness in the morning when I awake. All of that pain and stiffness is now gone. And I no longer take any medication regularly.

What was the toughest part about the Reboot experience?
The initial change to vegetables. I still have cravings for breads and meats, but I am more able to get by without. I have cut out all caffeine, soda, etc.

What habits have you maintained and kept a part of your everyday life?
We are still juicing at least once per day. The fact that my wife and I did this together made it very successful. I do not believe I could have done it on my own.

What is your lasting impression of the Reboot experience?
It is a transformation of lifestyle. I would never want to characterize Reboot as a diet or quick fix. I believe we will now stick with this for the rest of our lives. And I cannot believe how much better I feel having lost the weight and now being able to successfully exercise.
