This is one of my old favourite desserts but I always find the real version to be too sickly sweet. So I created my own. Here is a fantastic healthier version without all the unhealthy ingredients like excess sugar, unhealthy fats and processed ingredients.
Make this tart and delicious raw treat and you’ll be enjoying an amazing dessert without the buckets of processed dairy and sugar! A typical cheesecake is a sure fire way to upset my stomach and fire up my eczema so here is a healthy version that is creamy and delicious, dairy-free, gluten-free, and processed sugar-free. This contains plenty of vitamin C, protein, zinc, magnesium, good fats and fibre. So go ahead and enjoy a slice without the guilt.
Satisfying, sweet, salty, crunchy and smooth is just an idea of what you may get when you bite into this! It’s a muesli/granola recipe that can be eaten like any muesli with a nut or coconut milk or with a dollop of coconut yogurt and/or some sliced fruit. This recipe is very moreish and you will love it! I love the crunchy texture that the cooking gives it.
When I was growing up, almost every Sunday morning my mom would pop cinnamon buns in the oven. As soon as they started to warm up, the smell would drift up to my bedroom and I would jump out of bed, run down the stairs and wait for the buns to finish cooking (see I’ve always had a sweet tooth!). So naturally, since I began my love for raw desserts about three years ago, I have been on the hunt for the perfect raw cinnamon roll. And I came pretty close to finding it!
