In the Reboot Kitchen: Green Ginger Ale

When I was growing up and didn’t feel well, Ginger Ale was always the go-to drink to help ease the nausea. Well there’s a reason for that! Ginger is a wonderful spice and it may help an upset stomach, gas, bloating, nausea, motion sickness & morning sickness. This Green Ginger Ale omits the added sugar that you find in the soda so you’ll be adding a plethora of nutrients and easing your body back into health when you aren’t feeling so well.

Community Recipe: Carrot Limeade Juice

Sweet N Tart Citrus – Juice

Ingredients   3 cups Cranberries 2 2×2” pieces Ginger (2 small pieces) 3 Oranges 2 small Ruby Red Grapefruit 2 Limes   Directions Wash all produce well Peel the orange, grapefruit and lime, optional Juice Pour over ice Enjoy!

Watermelon Lime Juice

Ingredients 3 cups diced watermelon (seedless) 1 lime (peel removed)   Directions Juice, pour over ice and enjoy!

Mexican Style Jugo – Juice

Ingredients   2 large Cucumbers 4 cups Cilantro, leaves and stems, roughly chopped and packed into the measuring cup 1 Lime 1 Poblano Pepper, ribs and seeds removed 1 Golden Delicious Apple   Directions Wash all produce well Peel lime, optional Juice Pour over ice Enjoy!

Lemon Lime – Juice

Ingredients   1 Lemon 1 Lime 2 Asian Pears 2 Green Apples 2 Carrots 1 Piece Ginger (thumb sized) 2 cups Purple Cabbage   Directions Wash all produce well Peel lemon and lime, optional Juice Pour over ice Enjoy!

Green Grape & Pear Juice

Ingredients 1 cup of green grapes 1 pear 1 lime 2 cucumbers   Directions Wash all produce well Peel the lime (optional) Juice Pour over ice Enjoy!

Guacamole – Veggie Snack

Ingredients 2 Avocados 2 tbsp Lime Juice 1/8 tsp. Fresh Ground Pepper 1/8 tsp. Chipotle Chili Powder 1/8 tsp. Salt 1 clove Garlic, minced   Directions Scoop avocados into a bowl. Mash with a potato masher or place into food processor and puree all ingredients.
