How did you learn about Reboot with Joe?        
I learned so many things about Rebooting.  I learned how to love myself and I gained self-esteem.

What inspired you to do a Reboot?        
One day I woke up and realized that I really needed to lose weight and change my life. So that day I was thinking what to do? I had planned a lot of things. I went to the market to buy vegetables and since that day until now all I eat are vegetables and fruits. I’m the only one who helped myself because my family and friends can only support me so much but the only one who can truly help me is myself. Also, I wanted to change my life because I was tired of being fat. I had been fat since birth. I wanted to feel fit and healthy. I couldn’t stand people talking about my weight.

How did the experience go for you?
At first it was really hard but every time I weigh myself my weight keeps going down and I’m so happy.

How much weight did you lose (even if that wasn’t your goal!)?
As of now I lost 60 lbs but my goal is 190 lbs. I’m almost there.

Did you have any notable health or physical improvements?
When I run I feel like I’m a runner.  I don’t feel pain while running. I can jog nonstop and enjoy it. I also love biking.

What was the toughest part about the Reboot experience?      
At first it gave me headaches but I just kept telling myself I can do this. I needed to help myself so I stuck to it.

What habits have you maintained and kept a part of your everyday life?
I still go out and enjoy life. I go to school full time and work part time. I maintain it really well.

What is your lasting impression of the Reboot experience?
Eat healthy and be fit. It’s hard to help yourself if you can’t accept who you are. Be you, be yourself, love yourself. That’s what gives me hope. I almost gave up before but I told myself I need to change my life so I did. I will continue this forever. I will always eat healthy.
