Sick of His Nickname, “Meaty”, Michael Rebooted for 60 Days & is Now Called “Juice”

Name:  Michael M.
Age: 25
Reboot: 60 Days

How did you learn about Reboot with Joe?
I watched Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead on Netflix. The first time I tried to Reboot, I failed, but it was an issue of not having the tools I needed to succeed. I was using a blender the first time and it always came out unappetizing. So in March, I decided to try again but with a real juicer and it turned out to be much better!

What inspired you to do a Reboot?
I was tired of my nickname, Meaty, and everyone calling me fat or poking jokes about my weight and assuming I was lazy because I was overweight.

How did the experience go for you?
Everyone says the first few days to a week are hard. But I disagree, it was not that bad. It’s the last week that was hard for me because I was so close, and on a mental level I missed eating by then. I was also excited that I was almost done.

How much weight did you lose (even if that wasn’t your goal!)?
I lost 50 lbs./23 kg. during my Reboot. I went from 230 to 180. Currently, I am 190 to 195 after re-hydrating and working out and building muscle back up.

Did you have any notable health or physical improvements?
Well I can work out more and push myself harder leading to a healthier me!

What was the toughest part about the Reboot experience?
People who were trying to tell me I was hurting myself and telling me things that were not true about the diet. It was not tough in terms of staying on track, but it was frustrating dealing with people who were not educated on the topic and the Reboot diet.

What habits have you maintained and kept a part of your everyday life?
I don’t drink soda and I have a juice with breakfast and dinner. For lunch it’s always veggies and fruits!

What is your lasting impression of the Reboot experience?
It’s fantastic and it can lead to an end of obesity and heart disease if people just listened to the facts and ate healthier.
