In the Reboot Kitchen: Raspberry Recovery Smoothie

I love to drink this smoothie after a workout, or as a meal replacement. It acts as a balanced snack, meal, or recovery shake because it’s loaded with protein and carbohydrates and is a great way to re-hydrate. This smoothie is packed with healthy and hydrating electrolytes and plant-based protein for muscle recovery. Hydration is important and it’s easy to miss out on the benefits of electrolytes by only drinking water. Serve and enjoy this smoothie cold for the best taste.

Both the banana and the coconut water are great sources of healthy potassium that can help prevent muscle soreness, and the plant-based pea protein is a great for muscle regrowth and repair after a hard workout. The calcium in the spinach is also great for your muscles. In addition to its benefits for muscle recovery this smoothie is also a great source of vitamin C, iron, vitamin A, and fiber.
