If you’re in the US, then you’re probably getting ready to celebrate a long weekend! Maybe you’re planning on heading to a park, hosting your own BBQ, or heading down to a beach to catch a few sun rays after this long winter, but whatever your plans are, don’t forget about drinking your green juices!
I will be celebrating the long weekend in Ocean City, Maryland where I am planning on eating my Mom’s home cooked meals (which are mostly healthy!), enjoying a few BBQ’s, and hopefully laying out to enjoy a few poolside cocktails…and mocktails!
One of my favorite juices that gets me in the summertime spirit is this concoction below and I thought it was the perfect way to kick off Memorial Day Weekend. I hope you enjoy it too.
- 1 large handful of spinach
- 1 cucumber
- 1 large handful of mint
- 1/4 pineapple
- 1 apple
- 1 oz rum (optional)
- Wash all ingredients well.
- Remove rind from pineapple.
- Add all ingredients through the juicer and enjoy!
