In the Reboot Kitchen: Green Monkey Peanut Butter Smoothie
I absolutely love this smoothie. It’s become one of my go-to’s for breakfast but I’ve also found myself making it for me and my roommates as a healthy dessert! It’s packed with healthy proteins and nutritious greens, and it tastes like candy (a Reese’s Pieces to be exact). I always add as many greens as possible to pump up the nutrients and it never takes away from the delicious peanut butter flavor.
6 kale leaves (or more!)
1 cup/250 ml almond milk
1 cup/250 ml coconut water
1 handful of spinach
1 banana (frozen if desirable)
1 Tbsp. natural peanut butter
1 Tbsp. hemp seeds
ice, as needed
1.) Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, about 45 – 60 seconds.
2.) Serve in two glass and enjoy.
