Hi Joe,
In a previous life I was heavily involved in the managemnt and recording of a number of Australia’s biggest and most internationally successful bands. During the filming of several early film clips for Savage Garden in Paris I was lucky enough to work with an incredibly talented film maker, Adolfo Doring.
Adolfo had made several excellent award winning documentaries about topics that excite his personal passion. We have remained firm friends and Adolfo is currently working towards the story of
of tragic young girl with an eating disorder. He really wants to contact you, if you are in Australia, maybe we could make contact, I live in Coogee in Sydney and can be reached on the email address give above.
Best regards John Wooderuff
Good luck with your tour Joe-If anyone can inspire one to take control of their health and diet…you can! Thanks for sharing your experience.
How amazing that you are arriving in NZ tomorrow! I live in Auckland and start my juice fast tomorrow inspired by your documentary! I just watched your doco two days ago. Today I bought a juicer and lots of veges and started a video diary to keep me motivated! Thanks for the inspiration and all the best in NZ!
Hello Joe, I was wondering on the amout of juice that I should drink on a daily basis? I plan on juicing but I dont know how much or how often I should be drinkin? I’m 6’2″ 290# , any info would help. ThanksJoe.
just watch the film it was available at my local library. Don’t know what rock I’ve been hiding under. I had heard of juicing but not the benefits. My question is has anyone else done the 60 day fast?
Joe – Your documentary is brilliant. I am going to do the 10-day fast. I love Phil, and I hope that he has continued to prosper. His story is inspirational. Good Luck in New Zealand.
I am with Pamela, has anyone else ever been documented doing the 60 day fast? That is the one I am most interested in doing. Second runner up will be the 30 day fast for me. And, by the way, your video is wonderful. Sincerely, Nancy in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA
Hi Joe im i NZ and attempting to do a 6 day fast but what do we use here instead of kale? Have been to many shops and havent found it here? Can you help? Thanks in advance
Kale is not a mainstream vege in NZ.Best and most likely sources are organic producers and retailers.
There are three easy varieties to grow in any decent soil, with plenty of sun, cavelo nero, russian, and curly aka borecole if you have the room.
Hi azariah, you can get Kale at Huckleberry Farms. They have three stores in Auckland but also you can buy online here: http://www.huckleberryfarms.co.nz/ Good luck!
Hi Joe, it is so awesome you are coming to NZ!!! I wish you were coming to Christchurch! Its excellant TV 1 are playing Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, just a shame its at 10.30pm! I will be tapeing it, it is very inspirational!
I watched ‘Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead’ two days ago and found it informative and very inspirational. I have been considering doing a juice fast for awhile because i come across so many videos on youtube but i never really got the whole concept. Today i am starting my juice fast…I don’t know how many days i am going to do but at this point i am aiming for 30days.
I have just watched your programme. Bruce Lee knew the benefits of fruit and vege juices too. My husband and I used to drink a glass of vege juice everyday just for the mirco nutrients, and not for weight loss. But we both found we had ringing in our ear and a roaring sound after we drank the juice. We stopped and the noises disappeared. Very weird but for it to happen to the both of us…But good on you for your achievements!

Joe, you are a real champion mate. You proved the concept by undertaking the challenge yourself and inspired many people to do the same including me. I am going to start my own 60 day challenge tomorrow and I can’t wait!
I hope to meet you one of these days and thank you for the inspiration you have given me. Cheers to you and the good life!
P.S I am watching the doco on GEM right now.
