In the Reboot Kitchen: Nutty Peach Pie Smoothie

When peaches are in season, I’m a happy camper. My favorite juice to make when I’m wanting a little something sweet but also loading up on nutrients is the Peach Pie Juice. Since it’s my common go to, I figured it was time to experiment with other peach drinks…and this time a smoothie! A nutty one!

I love the combination of something salty and something sweet as you have seen with many of the Smart Sweets I make, but this took it to a whole new level! Peaches, macadamia nuts and cashews and a little flavor will have you satisfied and full so you will not need to be reaching for the snack drawer!

Peaches are a rich source of beta carotene to help improve vision health by increasing circulation of blood in the all body parts. It’s also rich in antioxidants that make them great for skin care to help manage dark circles and wrinkles. Macadamia nuts provide healthy fats to our diets in the form of Omega-3’s.

  • 2 – 3 ripe peaches
  • 1/2 cup (250 ml) almond milk

  • 2 tbsp cashews
  • 1 – 2 dates, pitted
