In the Reboot Kitchen: Green Goji Goddess Smoothie

In the summer I am constantly traveling on the weekends to get away from the city heat and go relax in the open air on the beach. While it’s fun, I have to be mindful about not wasting any produce that I bought for the week. So I have a little strategy in the summer: I buy less at the store and stock up on smoothie ingredients that won’t go bad. Some of my favorite smoothie ingredients (and daily staples) that I like to keep in my pantry, fridge or freezer that will stay good for months are:

  • Goji berries
  • Cacao powder
  • Hemp seeds
  • Chia seeds
  • Maca powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Pea Protein Powder
  • Flax seeds
  • Frozen bananas
  • Frozen blueberries
  • Frozen kale (Tuscan cabbage)
  • Frozen peaches
  • Coconut oil
  • Almond milk, unsweetened

If you stock up on these in your kitchen for those busy weeks where you can’t fully stock up at the grocery store, whether it’s because you are traveling or just too busy, you’ll have no excuse to not eat healthy! Out of the ingredients listed above you can come up with a variety of smoothies to enjoy throughout the week for a quick, easy and cheap meal.

For this Green Goji Goddess smoothie I handpicked a few of my favorites from the list above.
