In the Reboot Kitchen: Chocolate Smoothie

This blend is for those times you need a chocolate fix without loading up on unwanted calories and loads of sugar. This smoothie can be adjusted to suit your taste buds and you can add extra superfoods such as spirulina, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, carrots, banana and other fruits and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (175 ml) water
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) coconut milk
  • ½ cup of ice
  • ½ avocado
  • Handful of spinach
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp honey, or pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract powder

Directions

  1. Wash spinach.
  2. Put all ingredients in the blender.
  3. Blend, serve and enjoy!

Servings: 1 -2

Substitutions

  • Coconut milk – almond milk, coconut water
  • Spinach – any dark green leafy vegetables
  • Honey – maple syrup, stevia, coconut nectar
