Healthy Living is an Age-Old Concept

Some of history’s greatest thinkers were well ahead of their time in speaking about the power of good food choices for health. Or perhaps, humanity was on target all along, until recently, when processed foods began to infiltrate and take over shelf space in the market.

If nothing else, the words of these important historical figures give a sense of grounding and history when thinking about our own food decisions. Making healthy choices should not be thought of as a 21st century concept, but rather a time-honored tradition in service of living the best life possible.

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”
— Albert Einstein

“You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral [a nutrient] deficiency,”
— Dr. Linus Pauling, recipient of 2 Nobel Prizes
