A Look Inside the Fully Charged Launch Party

By: Joe Cross

On Tuesday night, not even extreme cold, heavy snowfall and icy roads stopped guests from joining me at the beautiful ABC Carpet & Home to celebrate the official launch of my latest book, Reboot with Joe: Fully Charged. The sidewalks were even hard to walk on because they were so icy — I was a a few minutes late to the event because I fell in the snow in my original outfit for the night and had to go back to my hotel room to change! But once I had dry clothes on, I made it there safely in a cab and when I arrived I was blown away by the wonderful support from the 175 people that braved the storm. A huge thanks to each of you for coming out and supporting my team and I with the launch of this new book.

I also want to thank ABC Carpet & Home and BodyLocal for hosting such a nice event. I reckon it was the perfect place to kick off the Reboot with Joe: Fully Charged Book Tour. Be sure to check my full book tour schedule to find out where I’ll be in the coming months. For this week, I have one more event in New York City…this Friday night at Barnes & Noble in TriBeCa at 6pm.  I hope to see you there!

I’m sharing a few photos from the launch party. These were taken by our Camp Reboot Success Story, David Bergman. He was the tour photographer for Bon Jovi — his work is incredible as you can see from the photos below. Thank you David!

More than 20 million people around the world watched Joe Cross juice his way across America, losing 100 pounds and getting off medication in Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. The film ignited a juicing movement. Viewers around the world have been inspired to start juicing, lose weight and get healthy - and as a result of the film over 370 million glasses of fresh juice have been consumed, 370,000 tons of fruit and vegetables consumed, more than 24.8 million pounds of weight lost, and over 220,000 people are now medication free. Joe's second film, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2 was released in November 2014. Through his journey and the lives of the people he meets throughout the film Joe shares all that he's learned about how to stay healthy in an unhealthy world, revealing that most of us really do have more control over of our health than we think - and that none of us are perfect, especially Joe himself! His book, The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet, hit the New York Times' best seller list in March 2014, and the companion guide The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet Cookbook launched that summer.
