I am so hungry for the bad food….the mozzarella sticks in the freezer for my hubby, the stuffed pretzels, a turkey sandwich. It’s driving me crazy!

Think about all the bad stuff the juice is washing away. Visualize yourself becoming healthy and stronger. Think about what your future will be if you eat the junk. Is it worth it?

It is not easy when you have to cook and make food for others. I am tempted because I am cooking. I am experimenting with healthy alternatives for my family that will be great for the time I am done the fast. In mean time I look at my goals, how serious I am about changing my health and I watch inspirational films which included a re- run of fat sick and nearly dead. Hang in.

Are you feeling good? I’m not having hunger cravings at this point but I still concentrate on how much better I feel with my body not loaded down with all that cooked food. That processed food you are dreaming about will kill you.

Thank you guys for the support! I haven’t gone to the freezer, I am not making dinner for my hubby! I am thinking of making a hot soup from broccoli.

Good. now a sigh of relief. They say to walk, get up and do something for about 15 minutes, the urge will subside. Especially if you’re full of water. Do you have any essential oils. Smell some lavender. Do some timed breathing, in for four, out for four. do it till you get to 10.

Keep pressing these keys here until you can’t type any more;) Get out of the house and walk.

Unfortunately I can’t do oils. I am allergic, but I did cure the cravings by going to the gym. Sadly, yes my apartment complex has a gym that doesn’t see me very often. I got 20minutes in of the eliptical at level 1 74rpm’s and 5 minutes of hiking on the treadmill uphill for another 5 minutes. Thank you all for your help! That is what this place is about! Now off to the pool for a last swim!

@Tytbody, am I the only person in the world that HATES the smell of lavender? I’d rather smell a vanilla bean or cinnamon stick than stinky floral scents. (Yes, I’m a girl and I hate the smell of roses, too. They make me nauseous! LOL)

I hear you Chile! I can’t stand the smell of roses either and that’s not only because of allergies either.

Thank you to all – from your help and me not caving in, I lost another pound. I am now down 9lbs!

Knowledge alone of the dangers of heroin never stopped an addict from taking it. Tell yourself that you will eventually have the foods you love – when you are 1) down to your appropriate weight, and 2) able to reboot at the first signs of unacceptable re-gain. BTW, rebooting changes your tastebuds/cravings, giving you a new and potent tool to avoid crap food in the future. The irony of it is that you fall out of love with the foods that caused you harmful damage and pain.

Yes, I’ve been wondering about the night cravings, too. I’m just getting started and have been doing lots of reading and there looks to be several juice recipes with ingredients (tomatoes, onions, garlic, hot peppers) that hopefully will satisfy my savory cravings. And maybe a fruity juice will hit the sweet tooth. Now if there just was one that tasted like chocolate… :) . Seriously, though, I’m looking forward to when my cravings will be for the good stuff. Hang in there.

Oh, a cup of herbal tea with a little stevia seems to help, also, with night cravings.

I drink lots of water, think about the wonderful effects of juicing — and I put all the non-juicing food in the pantry, then I moved the cats’ litter box so it’s in front of the pantry door. This is a temporary obstacle, but it’s working (I’m on Day 4) –I COULD get in there — but the extra step makes me rethink my craving, and I move on.

I have the same problem! Even though I had my juice for the evening well ready before I started cooking, have drank alot more water than usual. My stomach is cramping so bad from hunger pains! I think I will try making a smoothie tomorrow for the evening and see how that affects everything. I feel you on the night-time snacks! Tomato juice also is supposed to curb hunger pains, but no tomatoes on hand for me tonight and not until tomorrow :( . I have finally gone one whole complete day without a tiny portion of food! I had to take a little lick of the spoon though for my husband’s food to make sure it didn’t need anything else in it. Yay me! (I don’t really have the desire to either – just these hunger pains!) Any suggestions?

@jennifer, you really aren’t hungry. You really ….. are…. not… hungry. Drink until you’re teeth are floating. I don’t care if you think you’ve drunk enough. You need to piss out the stuff too. Keep that liver working so it cleans out your system of bad guck….

What ever you do, don’t eat. Don’t say I had to because you will live. You will live. it’s too early to go to bed or else I’d say, go to bed.. lol

But this is going to be so rewarding when you can look back and say, I did it!!!!! I FRIGGIN DID IT. And that’s what gets you to do just one more day.

I am going to go do laundry now and hit the store. I would go to the gym or walk, but I ended up putting my knee brace on last night from a knee injury in the Army. I know I will make it…trying anything to get these hunger pains to go away, I don’t even want anything to eat either.
