I started juicing about 6 days ago, I also started a thread here, but between then and now everyone seemed to disappear and I was left alone! Booo. If you are NOT going to give up and do this for 15 days and would like to have someone to talk about it every day, then you can join my group :) No disappearing allowed though!!!

    Hello Everyone! I have not fallen off the bandwagon. I’ve had long work hours and the last thing I want to do is get on the computer when I get home. This is Day 11. Woo Hoo! In my first week I lost 3 lbs. Juice On!

    Ok, this was day 4 of juice only for me and now I’ve switched to juicing with one meal plan…I can do this for 15 days…will be here too ; )

    Allright guys! I have done 15 days and I am going to take a small break from the forum. You guys keep at it. I will be back, just right now I am managing a political campaign and election day is tuesday.. yikes! Keep up the good work yall! I will be back with another 10-15 days juice fast soon!!!

    This is day 12! Woo Hoo! Thank God it’s Friday! We will be heading to the beach on Sunday morning. We are going unplugged so I will be back next week. Juice On!

    Hello all! This is my first juice fast. I did a water only for a week and it was too extreme a year ago. I’m in for 15 to 20 days. I’ve been a full time student and single mom for the past 30 months. I only have 4 more to go! My nutrition has suffered tremendously. I would like to lose 15 to 20 lbs. I’ve cut up my fruits already for my first morning juice; I’m ready to go!

    I have started my 15 – 20 day fast; this is day 1. I’m going to Costco and get some fruits and vegs. Their prices are great. I haven’t bought them before b/c it was way too much food, but it’s not anymore! I’m also going to try to find a glass bottle with the rubber stopper/latch top. It will work perfectly for my clinical rotations. I’ll try Target.

    I’ve had a terrible headache for 5 hours. It’s day one. I don’t drink coffee, but I get me caffeine from Diet Cokes. Maybe that’s it. I went to Costco and scored big time!! Everyone should go. Be sure to check out the small, freezing produce room. I’ve had 44 oz so far.

    Day 2: I feel sick to my stomach, bloated and I’m dizzy. I slept 11 1/2 hours last night. I made the mean green this morning but could only handle 13 oz. Pushing the water.

    nows: Do you not have a fruit juice in the AM? I find that it helps jump start the day and is a good change-up from the remainder of the day with mean green/veggie juices ….

    I disappeared into four days of mad bingeing. I guess I can continue with that, but the part of me in control today chooses not to. I’ll bet you that I can sharp shoot another person’s murky underpinnings of self-betrayal almost as well as a professional, but when it comes to my own, I am in the tall weeds. I don’t know why I do it. Baffled, hurt, feeling ill, and weary. I am posting this because maybe you fell off the juice wagon and are reading through the forum looking for some straw. Maybe this is your straw to grab at. There is so much shame and isolation in bingeing, so I am trying to disinfect it with this public airing (safely hidden by my screen name, of course). I begin again.

    CBBC: Maybe another way to look at this situation is that it took you a great deal of courage to face it and come back … Nothing prevents you from calling a mulligan and going onto the next hole anew. Good luck.

    I agree w hawkeye. It does take courage to post that. You may be isolated but you needn’t feel any shame. you’re human. Try it again when you’re ready and you’ll probably go further!

    Day 9 of my 15 day and lovin it!! A few of my favs are the green juice of course, watermelon, lime and grapefruit (fabulous on a hot day!) and the gazpacho juice! So far 7 lbs gone! Juice on!! Let me know how you are doing!

    I made a good one for a change of pace … I call it liquid salsa:

    1 Lime
    1 Lemon
    Cilantro [a few sprigs]
    4 medium tomatoes
    1/4 red onion
    clove of garlic
    1 jalepeno

    Congrats to nowscanning and Julie …. Keep up the good work. I am on Day 24 and feeling great!

    Hi, could you please tell me how much are we suppose to drink? I mean is there a restriction or and limitation for the amount? I mostly get like 1000 ml a day + one ice tray, then I drink like 3 lt water a day, I also do the same one over and over again because I like the taste the most( 1 big cucumber, 1 beet root, 1 lemon, 1 ginger, 1 granny apple, 2 kale,1 celery, 1 stalk of parsley)it is so refreshing is it wrong? how much should I drink, is there like a timing like every 3 hours? Can I eat like nuts, fruits and veggies? of course without cheese etc, uncooked, unsalted, not preccessd.

    kalamiti: I’m American, so not well versed in metrics. You’re getting a liter of juice each day? You are doing great on the water and your juice combo sounds fine, but you may need more juice. Most recommend 4-6 juices and be at least 500ml each serving.
