Day 2 down 6lbs. I’m only juicing on day 10 I plan to incorporate solid foods into my diet. Veggies and fruit only of course with some herbs and spices. Never thought veggies looked so good!

My husband and I just finished a 15 day Reboot and I lost 14 lbs. My husband lost 20 lbs. I followed it pretty much to the letter only occasional handfuls of nuts or a forkful of fish off my kids’ plate, but my husband did the juicing + dinner. The most amazing thing is that we have absolutely no processed foods, sugar or bread in the house and the kids are making healthy choices too. So glad we did this!

I lost 22lbs on my 30 day fast. It will be 1 year on Labor Day, and I’m down 68lbs total. I stayed vegan after the fast.
I’m doing another 30 day fast THIS Labor day, making it a yearly event, and hopefully I can get down to my goal weight – which is another 40lbs to go!You must be logged in to reply to this topic. -

March 2011 I was 51 years old and 325 lbs of Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.
August 2012 I am 52 years old and weigh 212 lbs – a total weightloss of 113 pounds! My name is Dan (5’11″ – 52 yr old) and I joined the reboot network on 7-24-2011 after watching Joe’s Documentary. I weighed 289 pounds. I immediately went and bought a Breville Juicer (the BEST brand, forget the rest) and I did a 10 day Reboot vegetable juicing fast. I only drank pitchers of fresh green veggie juice (and water)for 10 days – as much as I wanted, to jumpstart my program.
Everyday I made/make a juice of approx: 2 pounds Carrots, ½ bunch Celery, 1 big cucumber, 3 stalks Kale, ½ Beet, 1 green apple and a little knob of ginger. During the reboot ‘juice fasting’ period I only had veggie juice, all day everyday – no solid food. The ‘all you can drink’ nutrition packed vegetable juice keeps you feeling full and energized and allows your digestive tract to balance. I instantly started feeling better – through a juice fast! I instantly dropped 10 pounds which motivated me to continue. After the ‘juice only period,’ I thought, “I can do this.”
I tried another month of daily juicing, during that month, I ate 1 daily meal of solid food like salad or steamed veggies. I lost 25 pounds that first 6 weeks. I continued daily juicing through Christmas 2011/New Year 2012. I would just drink veggie juice ¾ of the day replacing breakfast, lunch, snack. I ate 1 solid meal in the evening with healthy stuff like beans, veggie stews, big salads. I totally stopped eating sugar, sweets, breads, chips, soda, coffee, booze and cut big meat portions but now stick to smaller portions of chicken, turkey, fish.
By March of 2012 I had lost a total of 55 pounds with daily juicing and 1 solid ‘healthy’ meal per day. Ask me – I did NOT feel hungry, no low energy and no cravings for crappy food or solid food. Within months of juicing I instantly stopped falling asleep in mid-conversation, I stopped having sleep apnea and my skin rash went away, my circulation and libido improved and I was able to start some simple exercise.
So far in a little over a year, I have lost 115 pounds with Reboot Juicing and a plant-based diet. Just remember it took years of unconscious eating to contribute to being overweight – It will take some time to get rid of it. Be patient, keep plowing through. You WILL feel better, You WILL lose weight.
Be kind to yourself and DO NOT watch the scale! Monthly weigh-ins are a better angle to average your weight loss. Keep in mind that you are creating a new healthier lifestyle for yourself and your family. Do what you can do, not what you can’t do.
You don’t need to feel you are ‘missing out’ – you are just doing life a little different, with a few healthier adjustments. Whether ‘organic’ or not…stay away from anything in a box, package, freezer section or center aisle of grocery store. Learn to love your grocery store’s produce guy – simplify your recipes – stick to the basics. Embrace preparing your veggies & make sure to drink “as much juice as you can consume throughout the whole day”
I make a 64ounce pitcher of juice and sip on it ALL day long. I have averaged a loss of 10 pounds per month with daily juicing & 1 solid vegetable meal per day. My wife or I make a pot of veggie soup or veggie stew everyweek – so it is easy to grab. When you only have veggies in your fridge – you only have veggies to eat. Learn to LOVE your veggies. Experiment and find ways to season your food with herbs & spices, not bottled condiments.
After I lost 75 pounds I started eating a piece of fruit in the morning, a mid-day snack of raw nuts n’ carrots with a Cacao Beverage (to replace coffee) and a complete plant-based vegetable meal in the evening. I sip on juice after dinner to help digest the solid food. My whole family joined me with my healthier eating habits. There is only healthy & nutritious foods in our home….”mom, i’m hungry”….my wife says, Have some juice or a handful of carrot sticks”.
I look better. I feel better. I have more energy & vitality. Commit to yourself. Think Veggies.

dland: I already did about 3 days of walking per week before my reboot, so I did not add more during my reboot. I lost nearly forty pounds juicing and over the past eight days on a largely plant-based eating strategy, I lost another five. Still feel great about the change. Good luck to you and happy juicing!

I know, it’s hard not to cheat…but one year ago I became a vegetarian and lowered my fat intake. I had lost about 15lbs. I always knew about juicing, but never juiced on this level at all. Since September, I lost another 15lbs! (I’ve gone down 2 sizes in clothes since Septmeber – 3 all together!) I have at least one juice daily, at least! I am about to order a 2nd juicer to keep at work in order to make my life easier and avoid giving into to something that’s not so good at the office…anyway, I made a juice for a co-worker just two days ago. And guess what, she loved it and went out and bought a juicer!!! She is 60lbs overweight and suffers from Pancriatitis! I told her little by little, just start juicing and instead of eating 3 cookies, eat 1. I’m hoping she’ll watch the video soon!!! And, my boyfriend’s mother just saw me for the first time after a year…and she too bought a juicer today. I feel so good that my weight loss has inspired people. They also can’t believe I don’t drink coffee!!!! I love juicing…thank you!

I started on 14 September and immediately cut out all processed food, coffee, tea, sugar… everything bad for me. I started for the first 2-3 weeks with veggie/fruit smoothies because I didn’t have a juicer. At that point I still ate some meat but the dairy had gone the same way as the coffee. I got a juicer after a while and I haven’t looked back! I have juices in the day and a raw veggie dinner in the evening, I go to the gym 5 or 6 times a week and so far I’ve lost 57lbs and gone down 4 clothes sizes!
Got on the scales at the gym tonight and worried because I’d put 2 lbs back on with no obvious reason then realised that the past few days I’d upped the intensity and weights in my gym visits and also the workout length too so it HAS to be muscle mass that’s caused the weight change….. it’s all good
Happy new year and happy new you to everyone!
