Thanks FF, and well done, a stone is agreat acheivement!!
Its the end of day 5 and the headaches seem to have passed. Looking forward to feeling brighter.
Not weighing myself every day – trying to resist this is not easy but have decided to weigh in once a week.

Thanks for the encouragement Hawkeye, day 20 is impressive!
How much weight have you lost?
How long to you intend to reboot for? I’m hoping for 60 days but wonder if many people give up before then.

    Hi all,
I’m loving reading how you are all doing. Keep up the good work! It really helps me feel inspired!
I managed to get through a family BBQ yesterday without eating…. Boy it was hard…. Not so much the meat, but a fan home made banoffee pie… OMG….. But yes, I resisted!!!!
Day 15 today so quarter of the way almost done – and a 15lb loss as of yesterday.

Krimini – how are you getting on?

Let’s hear how everyone is progressing and keep up the juicing everyone :)

    Hi Everyone,

Reading your posts is very inspiring. I started a 10 day juice fast today, but I hope to make it to 30… I’m up in the air about the length due to a five day college reunion weekend at the shore, which will start on day 11 if I continue. So far today I’ve done two mean greens and a pineapple / apple. I figure I should stick to mean green since someone mentioned a fruit juice sugar crash on another forum! I’m excited to purchase coconut water and add that, so thanks for the recommendation :)

Hi Mary, hows is it going?

I’m just checking in, day 7 and finally, finally I am feeling more like myself again. Less headaches but more importantly clearer in my head, the fogginess has lifted. yay! I am not hungry and look forward to juices. It was a tough first week but I felt encouraged to keep at it through the support of others and reading other posts on this forum.

Not sure how much weight I have lost, when I started I aimed to weigh in once a month but at the end of day 4 couldn’t resist and was excited to see a loss of 6lb.
Its not just about weight though, I’m focused on improving my health and that can be measured in other ways too; energy levels, how tight or loose clothes are fitting, reduction in need for inhalers/medication, clearer skin etc.

Keep posting, its good to hear how everyone else is doing.

Hi Everyone! I’m on day 5. Day 1-3 were God awful. I checked in on the scales today and I’m down 7lbs. The weight loss is an extra bonus. I’m doing this 10 reboot (hopefully go all the way to 30) for my health. I want to clean out my system and start a healthy life! Let’s keep this thread going! Love the inspiration.

You guys are doing awesome – I’m so happy to read these posts :)
Thanks for asking, Shas311. I’m doing ok. Made it through day one but got VERY nauseous in the evening. Today I feel like a new woman. I made almond milk along with apple carrot ginger juice for breakfast, followed by a ‘mean green’ later in the morning. I’m about to make a batch of ‘mean green’ for today and tomorrow. Although I’m used to the taste, the smell makes me want to gag!
Again, it’s really nice to hear from people on day 5 and 7. This forum is helping a lot.

    Hi Mary, hi Shas,
Glad to read your posts. I am still here – still juicing! Just had few really busy days at work!

I’m now on day 20!!!! Yes, can you believe it?? This is a major hurdle for me! When I started I couldn’t imagine being able to say day 20! :0)
That said however, I am struggling with my weight loss…. I just seem to keep yo-yo ing from day to day and don’t know why?….. I must be honest, I know I don’t drink enough water – so am trying really hard to drink more – had about 2 litres yesterday. Also I struggle with the green drinks and maybe add too much fruit? Again, I’m trying to have more veggies in the juice!
Yesterday I said to my husband that I’m finding this really tough… I don’t mind giving up food if I lose weight but am not going to be able to battle on like this :( so any ideas would be truly welcome.

So having checked in on here today I make a promise to keep going at least a few more days and see if I can get through this ‘plateau’!!!
This is a problem I always have with diets of any sort and usually why I fail!

    Check in soon,

    Dawn (aka FF!!)

You can do it! its just a rough patch. You have to keep the sugary fruit juices to a minimum if you want to be successful.

    Don’t give up!

Hi all, I started Sunday Aug 5th, I have 70# to loose, so I too am going for the 60 day. So far so good, I know what you mean about the greens , sometimes I want to gag, I started using goldend delious apples for more sweet taste and I add 2 carrots as well. I found the ginger to be to much , so I leave that out and it seems more tolerable for me. I have lost 7# in 6 days and like krimini that is my motivation, I still experiment with combinations of greens and fruits to get to a drink that I can say I LOVE, havent found it yet. Keep sharing recipes . God bless us all, we are doing the right plan once and for all.. Drink you god juice.

Fruity Freak you can totally do it! More veggies, less fruits.. tweak your green drinks with different veggies to find out what you like and I think eventually you may find a winner. Don’t forget about herbs and spices.. some people put cinnamon or mint in their drinks! Just don’t overdo it with the sugar :)

Wow! You are all doing great! I was only planning on doing a ten day and I actually ended on five. I am still juicing for one to two meals a day and eating a raw diet. Tonight I ate a piece of cheese during dinner – my first taste of dairy in one week. I was sick about 2 hours after :( I don’t know if it’s lactose intolerance or just transitioning out of juicing, but either way I don’t want to feel that way again. I used to feel sick after I ate all the time. I never admitted it was my food choices and instead lied to myself saying I have a sensitive stomach. I now know it was definitely my food choices since I was NEVER sick while juicing or eating raw foods.

Hope you all continue to succeed and lose weight! Here’s to me getting back on the band wagon with a firmer commitment to raw foods and juicing (and no dairy).
