Hi: How come none of the plans on the site tell how to do 30 or 60 day fasts, like Joe did in the movie? I’m juicing only for 15 days, but depending on how I feel and what I’ve lost, I plan to extend it, but there are no real guidelines of any sort. Do I just keep juicing–64 to 120 oz. day? Then, I plan to eat a vegetarian lifestyle–but I may need some fish or chicken once-in-a-while. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same question! What’s up with that?! I’m confused because I’m pretty certain the movie didn’t mention anything about additional foods. Any feedback on this is much appreciated. Thanks.

I thought the same thing, too. When I came to the website to look for the 60 day “only juicing” diet I did not come across it. In fact, I was shocked that all of the recommended plans included additional food/menus. I am starting tomorrow, only juicing, and hope that by following what /i think/ i saw in the movie I will be ok!

you can repeat the plan for 15 days is what I am thinking! I am doing a 40 day plan and see how it goes from there!!! Many folks did a 30 day here and I am sure they can give us an idea of how they did it! My understanding is lots of water 4-6 16oz to 20oz juices that are 80% veg and 20% fruit. I am sure the Nutritionist will set us straight! :)

I was wondering the same. I stumbled across the film on you tube but haven’t been able to watch it fully as I am in the UK. I guess the new plans are a healthier way of approaching the diet. The Juice diet is extreme , probably not that good for you and when you stop you will rebound big time. Been there done that! I am going to use the plan as part of a healthier diet and take it from there.

I think you will find that while doing the 60 day juice plan both Joe and Phil had very regular blood tests and doctors appointments to make sure everything was going well.

Talk to your doctor and see what he/she has to say about it. Mine did not want me to do it for 60 days so we agreed I would do it for one week and then the next I would juice twice a day and have one meal each day. Then alternate back to just juice the following week and have a blood test at the end of that week to see how my body is coping.

More likely it’s simply more people will stick to it by mixing it up rather than attempting to start out with 30 or 60 days. Like the gyms a month after New Years are packed, 2 months later they are back to the December levels. People often attempt too much and feel sick/sore and end up quitting.
