Nice job on the loss. I am also 29 (about to be 30 – all on my blog), While I have more to lose, I wish you the best on your journey!

Hey Nettie! I’m trying to lose 30+ lbs. I’ve gained so much weight during grad school that I don’t fit in ANY of my winter clothes. It’s bad, BUT I’m doing something about it now. I’ve committed to the 15 day reboot to start. If I see results, I’ll continue as long as needed to the 60 day mark. Today is day #1 for me. What about you?

Yay! Thanks y’all for commenting! Yes let’s keep this thread going! I am on day 5 and going to keep juicing, Lord willing, until I get this weight off:) I can’t believe how easy it has been. I don’t like the taste of all the juices but starting tomorrow I think I will start switching out things that I dislike and find replacements. Didn’t expect to loose this much weight this fast. I have been doing the 15 day plan but just using the middle 5 days of just juice. Feel great! Had a bad headache the 2nd day and a couple days of feeling like I had the chills. Other than that it has gone great! Oh and I didn’t prepare for this either. Just stopped eating junk food and drinking coffee “cold turkey” the day before I began my first day of juice fast;) I’m stoked you all found this thread! Let’s keep each other motivated! If you have any good juice concoctions please share:) May the Lord bless you all!

Hi all! I’m looking for a group and seem to match up pretty well with Nettie. Im 27 looking to lose 30 pounds, and starting at 166 lb. I just started a 10 day cleanse today and feeling great so far! I don’t have a juicer so I’m blending all raw veggies and fruits, shooting to stick strictly to smoothies but if things get rough I won’t den myself some raw veg/fruits to supplement.
I’m also training for a few races right now (running) so have to keep my calories up. I’m playing around with adding vegan plant protein to my mix.
I’m curious, on the juice-only option do you get crazy hungry??

Hi Carlyn! Great that you are on this thread! I have been strictly juicing for 5 days and really have not been hungry at all. The first couple days were hard because I wanted junk food but now I seem fine. I drink a LOT of water! 72 oz! I really don’t like drinking water but I know it is necessary for my body and I have been really full from it. Also been drinking coconut water which is very hydrating and herbal tea in the evening (caffeine free). Trust me I could still eat junk food but I’m so tired of feeling tired and fat that I am determined to loose it by juicing:)

My husband and I are on day 17 (of our 60 day), and we feel great! He has lost 35 lbs I have lost 22 lbs. Good luck and take it just one day at a time, once I get thru that one day it’s a victory and gives us the fortitude we need to carry on.

Lost another .4 lb! It’s great! Every time I wake up and weigh I have lost more weight! Been praying to the Lord to help me loose weight and then I was answered by my friend stephanie from church who told me about reboot your life! Praise the Lord! I have tried so many different things to loose this weight. The great thing about loosing weight with juicing is that it is healthy! May you all have a blessed day!
I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1 KJV)

Cath77, I think sometimes it’s just a mindset, determining that you will finish out the day, week, whatever, no matter what. What if you just focused on getting through one day and see how that goes? I know it’s not easy. Good luck!
