KateZ: You may have confused some of us Americans on here [as we would read your first reboot date as January 8, 2012]. I wish you all the best in your journey starting August 1, 2012. I am in the middle of Day Fourteen and so far so good! If I can do it, so can you. Best of luck. You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Kate: I weighed in at the beginning and will do so at the end, but I have discarded the scale and instead am measuring. I have lost six inches around the roundest part of my stomach and two inches around the waist at Day Fifteen. Although my hard-set goal was to make it to August 1st, I have decided today to re-set my goal to 30 days. I wish you the best of luck on your journey and do not hesitate to ask me anything. By the way, I found that the first 3-4 days to be extremely rocky, so do anything that you can to get though it [and don't forget to drink lots of water]. Water will save you, especially in the beginning. You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Hi Kate. I too am going to begin the reboot on August 1. I’ve been reading through these posts for a few days trying to see if there is a down side to this approach. But it appears not to be. However, I find myself getting very apprehensive the closer I get. Glad to know that others will also begin on Aug 1 with me. I have about 100 lbs to lose. I’m going to try to do the 60 day reboot to get me started. I’m older than you – 51 – but still in pretty good health despite all the weight I’m carrying around. My big complaint is that I feel tired all the time. After seeing a bunch of doctors and not finding anything wrong, I’m convinced that my fatigue is the product of eating poorly and carrying around so much extra weight. So, my hope is that boosting my nutrients and losing weight will help. Good luck to you! And I’d welcome any advice from anyone else out there! You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Thank you hawkeyeui93 it really helps. It’s Monday 30th July 2012 and I am detoxing before I begin my fast. I am determined and reading these everyone posts really helps and keeps me focused.
I wanted to know if working out at the gym is a good idea? cardio and weights, purely because of due to the juice fast and weight loss does it have an affect on skin (sagging/lose skin) so is exercise a good option.
Hi jeannep I am also doing the 60 day reboot hoping to lose at least 100lbs. You will be fine. It’s my 1st day of detox and I am tempted to eat. But I keep telling myself the food will still be there in 60 days time. Drinks loads of water! It’s nice to know I am not alone and I will be updating daily. good luck xxxYou must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Kate: good luck to you too! I am heading out to do my grocery shopping and stock up on veggies and fruit. I’ll be curious to see any answers to the sagging skin/ loose skin question. I’ve been wondering about that myself. J-You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Best of luck Kate. I started today, but we are going to end 60 days at almost the same time!Due to the existence of this, that arises... Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them...all juice fast start date: July 30, 2012 after 17 days of juicing till raw dinner. You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Ok, what is the plan for the 60 day reboot? because, that was the one I had in mind to do, but I don’t see it on the “Plans” page. I want to do the one that Joe does in the documentary. Is that plan outlined on this website somewhere? Sorry if this is an obvious question–I’m a little computer illiterate! Looking to start on the 1st, as well. Good luck to everyone! You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Elizabeth, you’re not alone! I was looking for the same one, as well. The best I can find is the one where you juice for two meals and eat the other one. Anyone have ideas?Follow my weight-loss adventures: http://windedinthewindycity.wordpress.comYou must be logged in to reply to this topic.

I’m also starting on 1st August! Yeah! Not sure about doing 30 or 60 days yet…pretty nervous about it. I have tried juicing before, but normally don’t make it past day 5 or 7. Haven’t found a support group like this before though…so hoping for the best!1st August 2012. Day 1.You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

I too am looking for the 60 day plan. I would love to commit to that time frame but I need a “plan” to follow. If left to come up with my own plan it will never happen, lol!You must be logged in to reply to this topic.

Sooooo motivated to lose 85lbs and determined and confused! Where is the 60 day plan to do nothing but juice exactly as Joe did??? Meal plan and shopping list. Do I need to buy something, I will but PLEASE someone tell me!
I am doing this to get healthy BUT I am also doing this to live my dream of touring the US and continue doing my shows to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! My obesity is holding me back in so many ways and it not only is affecting me, it also affects my wonderful daughter and the children and families of St Jude! I MUST do this as Joe has!
Good luck everyone on your journey!
