Flashback Friday: A Look at Joe’s Final Weeks on His Book Tour

By: Joe Cross

Wow! It’s been nearly a month since I’ve shared the happenings on my Reboot with Joe Book Tour. It’s been filled with travels, meeting tons of new Rebooters, and even a little break there in between. I’ve been all over the map — from Texas to Arizona to Canada to Washington and then to California where I just finished my last full week. It’s bittersweet to announce that my last event will be in Paramus, NJ on April 23rd. Bittersweet because the last 4 months have been an experience of a lifetime, but I’m also ready to get back to work on my next book and gear up for the release of Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2!

The last time I checked in I was in Texas, then I was in Phoenix & back to Texas to stop by Austin. Here’s a glimpse at my stops in Phoenix and Austin!

Phoenix was beautiful outside and even better once I got in the doors at Barnes & Noble and met all of these fantastic people…

A big thanks to all the families that came out together to support the event!

Then I headed back to Texas so I could stop in Austin. What a cool city!

Here are a few snaps of this lively crowd…

I got to meet Sylvia. She said she saw me on Dr. Oz and since lost 100 pounds by doing a few Reboots. Just incredible.

Gotta love a mom and daughter that love juicing together!

Thanks for the shout out Kim! It was great meeting you too.

After Texas, it was time to head north to Vancouver where we had FIVE events!

I kicked off the week there on CityTv’s Breakfast Television with Riaz Meghji in Vancouver. Perfect start to another great string of events.

It was nice to see so many smiling faces even though they had to wait in a line to get their book signed. I love to meet everyone an talk to them so that’s probably what made that line a little long! It’s worth it to me, because then I get to know you better and I love hearing your personal stories.

I love when I get to do a juice demo so everyone in the crowd can try my Mean Green! Thanks London Drugs for making that happen.

The kids especially love it…

Vancouver really made me feel the love. I hope to be back soon!

When Vancouver ended I headed to Bellevue, Washington, just outside of Seattle. Would ya look at this crowd?!

I also got to meet Vicki. Vicki you are MY inspiration! Keep up what you’re doing and thanks for coming out to meet me.

My last full week of my book tour was spent in beautiful California. I got to stop by six cities, and met thousands!

First I got to go on Good Day Sacramento! Thank You to Jennifer & Bud for sharing their story and letting my inside their home to juice with them.

Then I was off to Corte Madera to meet hundreds of friendly faces…

And then Santa Cruz where we got to enjoy the California sunshine outside.

In Santa Monica everyone had a book in hand ready to talk juice…love all of their smiles!

You can even see the sunshine getting to us while we were inside at the event in Huntington Beach! Everyone must have plenty of vitamin D living here!

And what a way to end my California trip in San Diego. Just look at this crowd — I was completely blown away by all of the support and inspiring stories I heard from my friends in California. Thanks to everyone who came out!

There’s one more chance to catch my last book tour event in Paramus, NJ! Get the details and I hope to see you there. This time I’m thinking it’s safe to bet there will be no snow!

More than 20 million people around the world watched Joe Cross juice his way across America, losing 100 pounds and getting off medication in Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. The film ignited a juicing movement. Viewers around the world have been inspired to start juicing, lose weight and get healthy - and as a result of the film over 370 million glasses of fresh juice have been consumed, 370,000 tons of fruit and vegetables consumed, more than 24.8 million pounds of weight lost, and over 220,000 people are now medication free. Joe's second film, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2 was released in November 2014. Through his journey and the lives of the people he meets throughout the film Joe shares all that he's learned about how to stay healthy in an unhealthy world, revealing that most of us really do have more control over of our health than we think - and that none of us are perfect, especially Joe himself! His book, The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet, hit the New York Times' best seller list in March 2014, and the companion guide The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet Cookbook launched that summer.
