“Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead” – what a difference a year makes

By: Joe Cross

April 1st marks the 12 month anniversary of the theatrical premiere of “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead”.  While my Reboot journey began well before the film came out, these past 12 months have been life-changing for me.  Since wrapping and releasing FSND, I’ve dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the mission of improving health and quality of life through the consumption of fruits and vegetables.  Every day when I check in at www.rebootwithjoe.com or on our Facebook page, I am reminded of why I’ve made this commitment. It is all about: your stories, your journeys, your renewed spirits, your rejuvenated health and Your Rebooted Lives!  We are so proud of our community of 300,000 strong and honored to have you with us at Reboot Your Life. Thank you for being a part of this very special year; here’s to many more!

We have big goals for the coming year, including plans to bring you more interesting, inspirational and informative content, as well as increased access to products to help you on your own journey.  Most of all, we will continue to work diligently to make Reboot Your Life the most vibrant community we can – a place of acceptance, support, ideas, conversation and more.  We know that there have been challenges and tough moments with the site these past few months.  We are doing everything we can to overcome these hurdles and are making progress every day.  Thanks for hanging in there.

To celebrate this incredible first year, here are some stories from Rebooters around the world!

It is our great pleasure to give back to the community that gives so much.  This month, to celebrate our anniversary, our friends at Breville have donated a Juice & Blend appliance for one lucky winner, and we will give away 10 Bundles (DVD & Book) to 10 lucky Rebooters!  All you have to do is be a U.S. based member of the site, and we will select the winners at random. So spread the word and give your friends and family a chance to win too.
* Don’t worry Aussies, we have some exciting giveaways for you, coming soon!
* If you are a winner, we’ll contact you and let you know.  You will have 1 week to accept and let us know where to send the prize.  If we don’t hear from you within that time, we’ll pick a new winner.

Finally, we are excited to let you know that we have also just switched over to the new Timeline feature on Facebook!  Learn more about Reboot Your Life’s history and check out the milestones from the beginning of production up to right now! Stop by and say hello!

More than 20 million people around the world watched Joe Cross juice his way across America, losing 100 pounds and getting off medication in Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. The film ignited a juicing movement. Viewers around the world have been inspired to start juicing, lose weight and get healthy - and as a result of the film over 370 million glasses of fresh juice have been consumed, 370,000 tons of fruit and vegetables consumed, more than 24.8 million pounds of weight lost, and over 220,000 people are now medication free. Joe's second film, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2 was released in November 2014. Through his journey and the lives of the people he meets throughout the film Joe shares all that he's learned about how to stay healthy in an unhealthy world, revealing that most of us really do have more control over of our health than we think - and that none of us are perfect, especially Joe himself! His book, The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet, hit the New York Times' best seller list in March 2014, and the companion guide The Reboot with Joe Juice Diet Cookbook launched that summer.
