Cinco de Mayo Jugo

Orange, red and green produce make up this fresh spring juice loaded with healthy immune-boosting properties that can help your body stay strong throughout the upcoming allergy season. The strawberries, tomatoes and limes all pack immune-boosting properties thanks to their rich source of vitamin C. Limes are also great for boosting digestive health and promoting healthy metabolism and settling an upset stomach. Not only are the limes great for their immune-boosting and digestive properties, but they’re also a key part of the upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebrations!  Perfect because this juice has just 5 ingredients too!

Cinco de Mayo as it’s celebrated in the US is also referred to as El Dia de la Batalia de Puebla in parts of Mexico, and is often celebrated with the making of various Mexican-inspired dishes that involve both tomatoes and limes (both included in this recipe). Feel free to add a dash of cayenne pepper to this recipe in commemoration of Cinco de Mayo and for metabolism-boosting properties.
