Marjorie Clapp is a health coach and registered yoga instructor (RYT) in Boston. She holds a BA in International Relations from Brown University and an advanced degree in Dietetics from Simmons College. Marjorie is currently working as a nutrition consultant for Abt Associates’ Food Policy and Child Nutrition Program Research team. She advocates a balanced, plant-based diet and mindful eating practices.
Kristen DeAngelis is enthusiastic in advocating a multi-dimensional approach to health and wellness through fitness, nutrition, and emotional clarity and balance. For several years, Kristen has been working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and just recently received her yoga certification through Yoga Alliance. As an individual nutrition counselor and a community outreach volunteer for multiple companies, including Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Delicious Living Nutrition, the Virginia Cooperative Extension Program, Blacksburg Farmer’s Markets, and more, she has addressed the importance of eating local, seasonal, whole foods to support a sustainable healthy lifestyle. Her degree in Dietetics and Exercise and Health Promotion, from Virginia Tech, has guided her towards an integrative approach to wellness. She is passionate about inspiring others to get excited about nourishing their bodies correctly, getting creative with healthy foods, and respecting the balance of everyday stress through mindfulness.
Pablo Antonio Garcia:
Pablo Antonio Garcia is a holistic health coach who is passionate about teaching others how to achieve daily balance and a healthy lifestyle using a unique and successful approach. He graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where he studied from top nutrition experts. Using his unique approach, Pablo lectures on how the factors in our daily life such as food, our environment, and exercise, greatly affects our health. Through his own personal struggles with family health issues, Pablo took control of his health by studying and understanding what his body needed and now uses that knowledge to successfully motivate his peers and clients to turn their old unhealthy habits into positive and sustaining ones.
Abigail Hueber, RD, has several years of experience helping clients attain optimal health and wellbeing. She is a strong advocate of a plant-based diet, and loves to cook using all varieties and colors of vegetables to make healthy and delicious meals. She currently teaches a middle school wellness program in the Boston area, empowering young girls to develop both emotional and health literacy. She completed her graduate studies at Simmons College and received her Bachelors of Arts from Gettysburg College.
Abby’s education in Nutritional Sciences, Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology provide a precise blend of science and action to help get her clients into the most highly desired shape possible. For years, Abby has been working as a personal trainer and nutritionist with many high profile companies including the UCLA Athletic Department, The Biggest Loser Resort, Live in Fitness Enterprise, SkySport & Spa, Montage Hotel, Cirque Du Soleil and more. Additionally, Abby has toured the country as the personal trainer and nutritionist to Joe Cross, creator of the acclaimed documentary, Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead. Abby is an avid marathoner and is also an active member with the LA Tri Club. Abby is currently the trainer at the Bunker Gym located in the heart of Beverly Hills.
Lyra Lemieux is a nutrition and fitness enthusiast and has been since a young age. She is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Nutrition and Psychology. While at West Chester, she studied numerous Nutrition courses including Obesity in America, Life Nutrition, and Alternative/Complementary Medicine. She is currently a student at the University of Massachusetts in Boston in the Health Science Department. Lyra volunteered with Angels on Horseback, which is a non-profit horse farm that rehabilitates people with mental and physical disabilities. She is a volunteer at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where she works with patients and contributes to DFCI’s Nutrition Recipe website.
Natalie Lowell is an undergraduate student at Simmons College pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a focus on Pre-Medicine. She volunteers with the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Nutrition Department and the Women’s Lunch Place on Newbury Street where she provides nutrition advice to those in need. She is an aspiring doctor, hoping to remind people to celebrate food and all the health benefits it has to offer. Her passions span from walking the city of Boston, experimenting with food and keeping up-to-date on science and health care research.
Erica Trestyn, MA, HHC is the founder of Cultivate Nourishment LLC. Erica received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and as a certified holistic health counselor she empowers her clients to transform their lives through healthy eating and mindful living. She knows firsthand what it’s like to struggle with always wanting to be a different size and has felt the pain and frustration of living a morbidly obese life. She believes that diets don’t work and that true health is achieved when we create complete harmony with the mind, body, and spirit.
